Meet Our Team

Donna Moore, DVM

Dr. Moore brings over 30 years of veterinary experience and a deep, lifelong connection to animals to her role at Veterinary Out-Patient Clinic in Orange, CA. Raised as the daughter of a Naval Aviator, she developed a love for animals and an active lifestyle early on — spending her time as a ski instructor and competitive equestrian hunter/jumper rider.

After completing her undergraduate studies in Southern California, Dr. Moore moved to Colorado, where she advanced her expertise working at the Equine Embryo Transfer Lab in Fort Collins. She later earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, solidifying her commitment to animal health and care.

Dr. Moore’s career has spanned a wide variety of veterinary roles across Southern California — from operating her own clinic and making house calls, to supporting animal shelters, ambulatory practices, and even working with exotic cats.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Moore leads an adventurous life. She enjoys traveling, skiing, car racing, and spending quality time with her friends, family, and pets. Her diverse background, clinical experience, and dedication to animal welfare make her an integral part of our team at VOPC.

Barbara Starr, DVM

Dr. Starr brings decades of experience and a lifelong passion for animal care to Veterinary Out-Patient Clinic. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Cornell University, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Oklahoma State University.

Originally from New York City, Dr. Starr now calls Orange County home. She’s the proud mother of two: Josh, who serves in the U.S. Navy, and Samantha, currently pursuing her degree in film editing.

Before joining our team, Dr. Starr owned and operated Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital in Fullerton for over 25 years, building strong ties to the community and providing compassionate care to generations of pet families.

At home, Dr. Starr is surrounded by a rotating cast of beloved pets, keeping her life just as full of fur and fun as her career. Her deep love for animals and decades of hands-on experience make her an invaluable part of our clinic team.

Sarah, RVT

Sarah joined the Veterinary Out-Patient Clinic team in 2024, bringing with her five years of valuable experience in veterinary care. She proudly graduated from the respected OC Veterinary Assistant program in 2023, equipping her with the skills and knowledge to provide excellent support to our veterinarians and compassionate care to our patients.

At home, Sarah shares her life with two beloved pets: Jelly Bean, an affectionate English Bulldog, and Trudy, an ornate wood turtle who brings a little extra charm to her household.

Sarah’s experience and heartfelt dedication to animal care greatly contribute to the quality of service our clients and their pets receive every day.

Kristina

Kristina joined Veterinary Out-Patient Clinic in 2025 and quickly became a valued member of our team. She graduated from Platt College and is currently preparing to take her Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE).

A true cat lover at heart, Kristina shares her home with five feline friends: Tofu, Myndi, Pepper, Mochi, and Pidan. Her passion for animals—especially kitties—was the driving force behind her choosing this rewarding career path.

We’re thrilled to have Kristina with us and look forward to seeing her grow and thrive as a veterinary technician!

Carol

Carol has been an essential part of Veterinary Out-Patient Clinic since joining us in 2020. As our dedicated Lead Receptionist, she skillfully manages both the front office and the behind-the-scenes operations that keep our clinic running smoothly every day.

Passionate about her work and deeply committed to our team, Carol’s warm and energetic presence helps create a welcoming environment for both clients and their pets.

When she’s not making sure everything is in order at the clinic, Carol enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking and channels her energy into boxing — a perfect match for her active lifestyle.

We’re truly grateful to have Carol as a vital part of our team!

Anthony

Anthony is a valued member of the Veterinary Out-Patient Clinic team, bringing both compassion and curiosity to every patient he works with. He completed his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University (ASU) and is currently preparing to take the next big step in his journey — vet school!

Anthony has a calm and caring presence, which pets (and their owners) appreciate. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys playing the piano and relaxing at home with his adorable Malti-Poo named Casper.

Dedicated, focused, and always ready to learn, Anthony is on his way to becoming an exceptional veterinarian — and we’re lucky to have him on the team in the meantime!

Zack

Zack became part of the Veterinary Out-Patient Clinic team in 2022, bringing with him a contagious enthusiasm and a genuine passion for animal care. A proud graduate of the University of Southern California (USC), Zack is currently working toward his next big goal: veterinary school.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys swimming and spending quality time with family and friends. At home, he shares his life with Casper, his lovable Bichon-Poodle sidekick who always keeps things fun.

With his strong work ethic, compassionate nature, and clear dedication to the veterinary field, Zack is a valued member of our team — and a future DVM in the making!

Chanelle

Chanelle is a dedicated member of the Veterinary Out-Patient Clinic team in Orange, CA, known for her compassionate care.

With a strong foundation in veterinary knowledge, Chanelle offers clear guidance on everything from flea control to skin care, always focused on improving the well-being of her furry patients. Her calm, friendly approach helps build lasting trust with pet owners — one visit at a time.

Duke

Duke takes his job as Security very seriously — so seriously, in fact, that every corner of the clinic has felt his watchful gaze (and occasional nap spot). Nothing escapes Duke’s keen senses: the slightest bark, a suspicious tail wag, or even the mysterious rustle of a sneaky cat sends him into full-on protector mode.

Whether it’s calming nervous pets or supervising the staff’s snack breaks, Duke’s on the job 24/7. He’s been known to leap into action at the tiniest disturbance — or when someone dares to drop a treat without sharing.

With Duke on patrol, both pets and humans can relax knowing they have a furry guardian watching their backs (and maybe requesting belly rubs as a job perk). At Veterinary Out-Patient Clinic, Duke’s presence isn’t just security — it’s a reason to smile.
